“A friendly & helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
The property was lovely in a quiet spot; Helen gave a very friendly welcome and her rhubarb tart was delicious and much appreciated; the cooked breakfast was also lovely; we didn’t find anything we didn’t like about the place.
The welcome was very friendly and the place felt cozy; it was more than adequate for a good night's sleep and a decent breakfast.
This place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by greenery, peace, and complete silence—perfect for disconnecting, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery. What really made my stay memorable were the hosts; she was incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely human, showing warmth, care, and understanding that surpassed any luxury or five‑star service. Those qualities are worth far more than any amenities, and they stay with you long after you leave. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat. ❤️
“A treasure , a great central Ireland location , attentive and reasonable , thank you to the family .”
The family‑run staff were great; Helen was thoughtful, Daisy the puppy was a sweet bonus, and I asked to take Daisy for a short walk; there’s nothing I can think of that’s lacking, and the cooked breakfast was included.
Helen was lovely and very caring, and she gave us a veg/vegan breakfast because we don’t eat meat; her dog Daisy was a real bonus. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable, the shower water pressure was weak, and a curtain on the small window above the room door would help block the hallway lights that make the room too bright at night.
