“Heerlijk buitenleven, leuk voor enkele nachten.”
I loved the freedom, the location, and the bed was wonderful! However, I missed a small stove or gas stove for cooking, and there was no way to use one. Also, there was no fridge inside the tent—there’s a fridge by the showers and a microwave there too.
“Doen!”
A warm welcome from the staff, and the spot is unbeatable—cleanliness is spot on, the toilet and shower were spotless. I skipped breakfast but it would have been great. We stayed just one night in the tent; it was a bit chilly in the evening but the heater and blankets kept us comfortable. Seeing the horses grazing by the field added to the charm. In the dark evening, we walked from the tent to the bathroom, but a nice lamp was already set up, so it worked out fine. The old‑school camping vibe was a delight. They even suggested a scenic drive during the day, which was worth it for the peace we needed. We’re definitely planning a return trip. Unfortunately, the tent couldn’t be booked online for an extra night, so we missed that chance. Thanks for the great care, Robbert and Sabina!
“Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar! Heerlijk verblijf gehad in de ruime tent waar een heerlijk bed in staat.”
The tent was spacious and the bed and bedding were wonderful.
“Voor nachtje op doorreis ok”
The place was quiet and the toilet facilities were fine, but the tent layout was impractical: there’s no standing height for tall people, the bed and table sit in the middle, and the sides are slanted with a low roof.
Breakfast was delicious, and the bed was comfortable, but what I really missed was a window to look out or away from the cold. We were in a small hut and a window in the door would have helped a lot. Everything else was great, and the location was top.
