It was a wonderfully quiet, countryside location that felt truly spectacular. The hotel served meals, and there were also nearby restaurants where I could enjoy a variety of local dishes. I wish I had been told in advance about the cost of the tricycle (tuk‑tuk) rides.

There was nothing I liked. The place doesn’t match the photos at all – it’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bedroom feels more like a prison, the pool is tiny, the food comes with warm water, you have to request ice, and the water itself was dirty.

I appreciated how far from city noise it is and how close it is to the lake. Unfortunately, the lake was very dirty when I arrived, which was disappointing even though it wasn’t the property’s fault.

After a month traveling around Philippine islands, the Baywalk Suite was my final and favorite stop. It’s a perfect place to rest, relax, and recharge, surrounded by plants and colorful flowers. The pool is incredibly refreshing. Ray and Juliette are the kindest Filipinos I’ve met; Ray is an amazing cook and I wish I had more time to try the whole menu. If you love nature, want a quiet spot, and want to enjoy Batangas’ beauty, I highly recommend it.
