We discovered this place while planning our hike to Moldoveanu Peak and were just looking for a quiet, peaceful spot with breakfast and dinner so we could focus on the trek. What we found surpassed every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could need, including a coffee machine, kettle, and all the little touches that make a stay cozy. What truly set this place apart was the host, Constantin, who welcomed us warmly, explained everything, and even suggested a few hidden spots nearby. We followed his tips and absolutely loved them—places we probably would never have found on our own. Thank you so much! Every evening Constantin asked what we’d like for dinner and cooked amazing meals; both dinners were delicious. Before our hike to Moldoveanu he even packed sandwiches for us to take up the mountain—thoughtful and tasty. Throughout our stay we felt less like hotel guests and more like family. The hospitality, kindness, food, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful nature around the property made this one of the most memorable parts of our trip. If you want to enjoy nature and genuine, warm hospitality, stay here. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends. Thank you, Constantin, for everything! ❤️

Very friendly landlord, always available, and he not only provided an exceptionally rich and excellent breakfast but also a tasty dinner. He explained a lot about the region and offered to show us around. We were even able to check out later. Thanks for the lovely hours with a great view of the National Park! The small house has everything you need. The bathroom is unexpectedly large, even with a window. The vehicle can be parked safely and directly next to the accommodation.

Peace and hospitality. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. That’s how the host made us feel! Delicious dinner prepared with soul and served in a family atmosphere! We’ll gladly return! The only downside: the time was too short 🙂
Quiet, nature, cleanliness. The host was fine, gave us useful information, and the food was okay. Ideal for those climbing Moldoveanu and for anyone who wants a calm, relaxing place.
We spent two nights at Cer de Munte for our ascent of Vârful Moldoveanu. The spot is superb, right next to the forest road that leads to Stâna lui Burnei. Set on a hill, the panoramic view was exceptional. The hosts know hiking well, so they served us a hearty dinner on the first evening; because our second‑day trek started at 6 AM, they gave us a nicely packed breakfast (we ate part of it on the way and the rest up on Moldoveanu). When we returned after 9 PM—normally the restaurant is closed—they left a hot dinner beautifully arranged in our room. Absolutely exceptional! The place is a family‑run business with extraordinary people and wonderful stories, everything was first‑rate. Thanks again for the hospitality!
