Good value, very close to Plaza de Armas in a quiet area, friendly staff, comfortable stay.

The hotel sits right next to the Plaza de Armas, very central, and the staff were very friendly; we came with our baby and they helped us with everything we needed. The facilities are good and the breakfast is nice, but honestly everything was just fine.

The breakfast was simple but enough and good; when we wanted to repeat something we were very well attended. In fact, the family‑style but discreet service was the highlight of our stay at Casa Matara. The bathroom box, lacking a structure to seal the shower area, left everything wet and the bathroom stayed damp until the next day.
