The welcome was very friendly! Because we were visiting Etna, the host prepared breakfast for us at 06:30 on our request. We were warmly sent off when we left.
The cats were lovely, and we enjoyed the pool and garden. Some other guests tried to sneak into our room late at night, but that’s not the accommodation’s fault; maybe a later check‑in time would help.

Owner Luca is extremely kind, helpful, and professional. His Senegalese assistant who welcomed us and took care of us was courteous, patient, and generous. The room was clean, spacious, with wooden beams, a fireplace, and a chair. The bathroom was renovated with a functional shower. The place is quiet and surrounded by a garden. The breakfast was very disappointing. Unfortunately, it was of poor quality and the products were not fresh. Bread came in a box, not freshly baked. The cheeses and cured meats were sliced from discount stores. The owner’s assistant tries to serve it carefully, but especially in Sicily (the cradle of excellent food), such poor food devalues the beautiful lava stone villa.
