I was given a room with a disabled bathroom even though I didn’t need it, which was a bit inconvenient but worked. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, yet I had to report a troubling incident: a misunderstanding about a supposed parking accident led to my phone number and some personal details being shared with a stranger who later contacted me. Thankfully, the person had no ill intentions, the mix‑up was cleared up peacefully, and nothing else happened. Still, personal data should be handled with extra care, especially when the truth of an event isn’t fully verified.

The room was clean and the hotel sits right at the foot of the climb to Fortezza delle Verrucole. However, there was no bidet in the bathroom, and both the quantity and quality of the breakfast were lacking.
