We booked Aurantola for a two‑night break and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the sauna’s great steam, and a generous, tasty breakfast.

We spent one night in a cottage, and the host was exceptionally kind, even staying after our delayed check‑in. Across the lake bridge lay the main building where we had an excellent breakfast with many options for dietary needs. The cottage was roomy and fully equipped, and as a group of four we were comfortable in the two loft‑style sleeping areas. The detailed guest handbook was so useful we kept referring to it. One night wasn’t enough to explore the area; the scenery is lovely and at least four or five days would be ideal for hiking and nearby sights. Our only regret was the strong wind that kept us from using the lake boats, which we were really looking forward to.

The booked house was in a great spot on a small island right by the beach. Everything needed was available, and we also used the free paddleboard for fishing. The service was friendly and helpful, and we felt welcomed.
