“Beautiful lodge near a fab location”
The decor was modern and the site was lovely, plus the restaurant was great; however, the walk into Padstow takes 45 minutes and is not feasible at night.

The location was perfect and the site lovely; the walk from the Lodge to Padstow took about 30 minutes with two kids, it was safe with no main roads to cross but it isn’t disability friendly because of walls to climb over, and watching the sunrise over the hilltops was beautiful. On arrival we were hit by a damp dog smell, a swarm of flies, and the shower trays looked and felt dirty, so we had to buy cleaning products before using them.

The lodge feels really cozy and is easy to reach from Padstow and the beaches; Martin and Tracey made sure we had everything we needed, so I would highly recommend it.

It was very peaceful, just a short walk into Padstow, and I loved how much space the accommodation offered. The only downside was the lack of an indoor bar area when the weather turned, and it would have been nice to chat with other holiday makers.

The lodge is ideally situated, just 2.5 miles from Padstow harbour, and the site is very dog‑friendly and quiet, which suited us perfectly. However, the lodge wasn’t particularly clean: the outdoor furniture was dirty, one or two chairs had bird poop on them, the floor wasn’t very clean, and several cutlery items still had bits on them. It also felt especially small; we’ve stayed at lodges of similar size and I think the odd layout contributed to that impression.
