The charm of the place and its location. The early morning wake‑up from the rugby players in the courtyard made me wish I could rest more during my vacation.

The place is especially charming and offers good quality services, though the breakfast could use a little extra effort. The lack of a restaurant is a deal‑breaker for motorcyclists, and that’s a real downside.

I had a peaceful moment in an original setting; everything was very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to look after us and our dog, even preparing bowls and a bed in the room before we arrived without us asking. The breakfast was hearty, with plenty of local products.

The hotel’s location is beautiful, though it’s a bit out of the way and only sensible to reach by car. The rooms are generous and modernly equipped, fitting the mill’s overall vibe. The breakfast, served by a friendly house lady, was delicious. At check‑in, no one was present, so we had to search for the key (the hotel had previously mentioned this). Entering the building alone felt a bit eerie; perhaps more guests are around during peak season.
