The place Nubia is a small quiet spot right on the salt pans. The accommodation is a bit remote but still easy to reach. From there you have a great central point to view the surrounding islands and to start trips to Trapani, Marzara del Vallo, Erice, Marsala, and the islands. The warmth of Guiseppa and Franco, who live on the property, made us feel right at home. Plenty of parking is available. The unique view of Favignana at night with a glass of wine in hand was amazing. We had plates, cutlery, wine glasses, and even a bottle opener in the room. We liked that and also enjoyed a sandwich on the terrace in the evening. There is a clothesline on the terrace, and you can use the lounge chairs in the communal garden. The bed and furnishings were nice and partly new. There are some shortcomings in the bathroom. It’s a great modern bathroom, but the yellowed cabinet and mirror don’t match the rest of the new design. Several restaurants are nearby, but you need a car. The accommodation is quiet. Unfortunately, all three double rooms are extremely sound‑prone and privacy is not really guaranteed. The small outdoor area is only slightly separated by plants. To get to your room you walk past all the rooms and can see them. Because of the proximity to the airport, the rooms are also rented out on a daily basis, so guests are around in the early mornings or late evenings. We stayed there for 4 nights and could not sleep through the night because we were constantly woken up. In the middle of the day we wanted to lie down after a tour, but that wasn’t possible because the cleaning of the other rooms was happening. The lounge area shown in the photo was not there and the main door was locked, so we always had to go over the terraces into the rooms.

The place is stunning, just a short walk from the Nubia salt flats and 15 minutes from Trapani airport, set in a very quiet, nature‑filled environment. Facing the view of Favignana! Giovanna and her husband give guests a rare, warm welcome. The room features brand‑new furnishings, meticulously detailed. Perfect stay! Highly recommended! Nothing negative, everything perfect.
