I had already confirmed the charge before departure, but because I arrived too late, the car couldn’t park in the hotel lot (full). In a hurry, the front desk staff asked me to pay another night’s room rate. After checking my booking and bank card records, I realized the hotel had charged me an extra night. Finally, I had to show the booking record at the desk to get my money back. During that process, the staff acted very indifferent, making this the worst experience of my many stays in Japan. The hotel meets local city standards but has no special features, chosen in a hurry due to itinerary issues.
