The place is pretty nice and good for relaxing. Prices for “extra‑hotel” activities are higher than what the hotel advertises.

The staff at the restaurant were attentive. The app had me pay for my pet’s stay, yet the hotel charged me again; the shower had almost no water, and the rooms smelled damp. Overall, the hotel feels very neglected.

This was my first visit to Rancho Viejo, but it definitely won’t be the last. It’s a magnificent place surrounded by beautiful gardens and forest, creating an atmosphere of absolute tranquility and beauty. The cabin was very comfortable, cozy, and impeccably clean, with a very supportive mattress that allowed for excellent rest. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was also very good, enjoyed in a warm, welcoming space by the fireplace, giving the stay a special touch. Without a doubt, Rancho Viejo is a true oasis of peace and beauty. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.

I love this place; it’s one of my favorites for its calm vibe, comfy and spotless cabins. The staff could be friendlier, though.

The spot is gorgeous with stunning scenery, perfect for a weekend getaway alone or with a partner. I came with my 10‑ and 8‑year‑old kids, and the issue was that in the afternoons there was no way for them to entertain themselves because the rooms lack TV and Wi‑Fi for their devices.
