The enclosed, well‑kept grounds were lovely and breakfast was served in the garden, but the bedding was stiff and uncomfortable – pillows, mattresses and the sofa were all hard, the kitchen took at least two hours to prepare anything and ordering more meant another two‑hour wait, and although the hotel is supposedly on a lake, the view showed only a dirty‑looking puddle.
“Great Location, Subpar Food”
The hotel's central location was a major plus, but unfortunately, the food options were pretty limited and not great. It's a shame, because the proximity to the city center made it an ideal base for exploring.
“A Hidden Gem in the Green Canyon”
This place is truly a gem. The hospitality is exceptional, and we felt like we were visiting old friends. The hotel is spotless, cozy, and comfortable, with delicious food to match. The garden is a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast under the trees or have dinner on the dastarkhan. The pool is great for unwinding after a day of exploring. And the people – we can't wait to come back and see them again!
The grounds were wonderful, the food delicious, and the scenery spectacular; they helped with our luggage and the breakfasts were simply superb, with lively and friendly staff whom I thank for their assistance. Everything could have been perfect except for a huge issue: we booked a room 1.5 months in advance and corresponded with the property several times, expecting a room with one large bed and two sofas, but only one sofa was provided, leaving three adult women with just two sleeping places instead of three. One sofa vanished, and only one bed was made up for three guests; the second sofa was gone. We asked for a third towel set but got only two, despite the reservation for three people. The worst part was the bathroom door leaking foul sewer smell; the staff told us to open a window and ventilate, as if it were our responsibility. After a day we finally opened a window, let water in, and the odor cleared. At check‑in, the missing sofa forced two of us onto a single large bed with one blanket covering 1.5 beds, and when we requested another blanket they replied, “Why would you need one? We’re not a couple sharing a blanket.” In the end they gave us a smelly blanket, which was still better than the ones the waiter brought to the dining area. All this after booking 1.5 months ahead.
“Perfect Getaway”
Everything was great here - the food was delicious, the cabins were cozy, and the staff were always happy to help. We loved the rabbits and dogs on site, and the weather and air were perfect. It's a real gem of a place.
