Golden Palace Marina Hotel

The spot is close to the beach, but there are no services, the breakfast was poor, and the room wasn’t clean. There’s no maintenance.

Nothing good. The service was awful, they said it was closing, the food was disappointing, and I’ll never return.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, always delivering excellent customer service and smiling while ready to assist with any request. The location in El Alamein is great and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard and fountain, spending time there every day and evening. The room was nice, large, and the bathroom featured a spacious walk‑in shower. The hotel is in a beautiful area, and I highly recommend it; we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. The only issue was that the bed linen in our room had black marks and looked a bit dirty on arrival, but we reported it to reception and they immediately swapped it for fresh sheets. Overall, we were pleased with how quickly they responded and with their customer service.

The staff were very helpful and polite, and the location was great, offering good value for money. The facility is rather old and needs maintenance and renovation, and the elevator was out of order the entire time we stayed.
