The proximity to Lake Marea is a plus. However, the room wasn’t clean enough; it had a strong chemical smell from insect repellent, the kitchenette was broken, the linens on the roof were dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and squeaked, and the roof itself creaked. There wasn’t enough hot water for showers, and at certain times only cold water was available. The whole village feels a bit neglected – some playground equipment is broken, the grass is yellow, and the look is outdated. The lobby has a neglected aquarium.
The room size, bathroom, and air conditioning are positives. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked, ants were everywhere in the house, the table on the veranda was broken, windows from the bedroom faced the street where you could hear shouting, cars, and especially a swing that rattled from morning to night.
The cottage met our expectations. The location is good, close to the pools, and the grill area is an added advantage. Communication with the owner was quick and hassle‑free. During the stay a small inconvenience arose, but it was resolved very quickly. The owner showed great commitment, friendliness, and a professional attitude toward guests. It was fine.
The terrace design and the benches were all very good. No complaints.
The cabin has everything.
