Terre dei Ghelfi is a resort surrounded by vineyards and olive trees in the Bolgheri area, just minutes from the sea, making it perfect for exploring the Tuscan Maremma and the wine road without sacrificing beach time. The apartments are spacious, meticulously detailed, and come with private verandas. The heated pool, surrounded by olive trees, is the highlight of the property. Alberto, Cristina, and their staff are attentive and friendly, making guests feel at home. From day one, the pace slowed down: outdoor breakfast with local products, afternoons by the pool, evenings in the garden. The electric bicycles took us to the beach in twenty minutes, and on the return we were met again with the quiet that is hard to find elsewhere. Small touches that make a difference: a welcome basket with local products, fresh water available at any time, and electric bicycles on hand. Ideal for those seeking relaxation, nature, and excellent hospitality in one of Tuscany’s most beautiful regions. We recommend it without reservation.

The accommodation is wonderfully located in the countryside, everything is easily reachable (though with a car). The staff is super friendly and attentive to personal contact. We stayed for six nights, but we would have liked to stay several more. There are our own vineyards and olive trees, which are fun to walk through. Tip: try their own Vermentino! The price is a bit high.

The resort is an oasis of relaxation. The garden is wonderful with a heated pool, and the hosts are very tidy. Thanks to Alberto, his wife, and his sister-in-law for outstanding care; there are so many plus points: a vegetable/fruit garden for free use, free E‑bikes, a great welcome basket… absolutely recommended. Nothing negative.
