We arrived late Sunday afternoon and left early Wednesday morning; it was raining so we couldn’t walk outside, but when the sun came out the kids immediately wanted to try the pool, which felt fine except for a few little frogs and a lizard that also jumped in and caused a commotion. The room was a loft with a few beds and a bathroom; the low ceiling meant our feet hit the roof when we stood up, so we could only walk in the center of the room because we’re all short. The furniture was all very old (there were some nice antiques but not in this case); we had no place to hang clothes or do anything to eat or just drink a glass of fresh water. No fridge, microwave, TV, or any comfort item—just two old chairs.

Jenny and Hugo were incredibly warm and professional, the site itself is fantastic, and the homemade food was simply delicious – everything was perfect.
