The place was easy to find and very quiet. The staff were excellent and you could come and go whenever you wanted; you could key the back door and just walk through the pub. Breakfast was included.

I loved this place! Perfect for my overnight stay before heading back to the Netherlands from Cardiff airport, which is just 5 mins away by car. A delightful, old‑school village pub with a lovely fireplace, good food and wines, and a great selection of ales on tap. The staff welcomed me warmly. Adam gave me a double room that was spacious, quiet and comfy, offering great value for money. Well done!

The breakfast (full English breakfast) was perfect! The evening meals were very fine and tasty. The rooms were cozy and very clean. A quiet and peaceful location, very comfortable.

If you want to experience the true spirit of Wales, come here. A hidden jewel. Not a tourist spot which made it all the better. The real deal if you want a British Pub. Food was great. Town was amazing!
