The lodge is pretty good for the price—clean, convenient, and the room was comfortable. The only hiccup was the bed for my daughter; it was too hard and she couldn't sleep on it. The access road is a nightmare, making maintenance costs a real issue, and the food is pricey—hard to afford if you're on a tight budget.

Simple inn that covers the basics—clean, comfy room, close to Praia do Espelho, peaceful spot, good value. Just remember there are no night‑time restaurants or markets, so bring supplies. The shower was pretty clogged, and at night we heard animals moving in the ceiling, which was unsettling. Also, the coffee at Hotel Maion was quoted at 50 reais, but it's now 45.

Great spot, but the room was swarming with mosquitoes—never seen so many. The AC was loud, and the kids' bed was in the bathroom.

Everything you need, but hard to find at first. It's a quiet, remote place, yet waking up surrounded by nature with Praia do Espelho right at your feet is unbeatable.
