“Genoten”

Kind, spacious, beautiful room. Solid and sturdy bed, a bit short for me but fit perfectly with a little toe pain. Everything was well taken care of. Good breakfast, gorgeous space. Within walking distance of the main entrance of the Nürburgring and definitely the public spots in Hatzenbach. After all those miles, the room was a nice break, but a slightly newer TV would be nice.

“Wenn wir wieder am Nürburgring sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!”

Nice, clean accommodation with a relaxed vibe and lots of warmth. The hospitality and cleanliness really stand out! The inn was newly renovated, very modern, and there’s a fresh scent in the air. The room and balcony were spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Having two fleece blankets in the room was great, especially because it can get a bit chilly on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. We even used the blankets as seat cushions on the balcony chairs. Since there’s no fridge in the room, we could grab chilled drinks from the fridge at the reception for a small fee. Breakfast was a small but lovely buffet that left no stone unturned. There were rolls and bread, oatmeal, cornflakes, yogurt, and fruit salad. For the rolls or bread, there was a nice selection of spreads. It was nice that they didn’t stock large amounts of each product; instead, they kept a small supply that was refilled as soon as something ran out. When you entered the breakfast room, they asked if you wanted fried or scrambled eggs with or without bacon. They were freshly made and delicious. You can tell that Heike, Nils, and their staff put a lot of heart into it! The location was very central. The Ring track/Nürburgring and restaurants were all within walking distance. There’s a parking space right at the inn. Maybe they could offer more comfortable chairs or cushions on the balcony. We spent a lot of time in the room and also sat on the balcony late into the evening. Over time, the chairs became a bit uncomfortable. A mini fridge in the rooms would also be a nice addition. We knew in advance that there was no fridge in the room, so we called to ask if we could bring a cooler. That was no problem.

“I would stay there again but not during the warmer months.”

The room was very nice and close to the Nurburgring for our visit there. No air conditioning, ceiling fans or portable fans available. We stayed during the heat wave and it was almost unbearable in the room. It would be great if the hotel would simply add a portable fan to each room to create some air movement. We bought a couple of travel fans right after that stay

“Great.”

It's difficult to list all of it, but in typical German fashion everything was organised exactly to fit the purpose. There was a parking big enough for all the guest cars, the method of entry into the room and building was very efficient with codes, it was very clean. The location is excellent w.r.t. the track (both GP and Nordschleife). It is difficult to find better value for money. Even the bed were large enough and the duvets long enough (sometimes not the case in Germany). The toilet is really close to the shower so it's a minor inconvenience that's all. The second is more about the town, I'm surprised that in such a location bars close quite early and there's nothing going past midnight. But again this second comment isn't about the N-Ring Pension itself
