The location was acceptable, but the beds were cheap, the TV was small and old, the building was worn out, stair access was only on the third level, the walkway had rotting wood held together by ratchet straps, and I honestly doubt this place could pass an inspection—bad choice.

We had a reservation for September 14 & 15 made in April, but when we arrived on the evening of the 14th with a confirmation, the lodge only had our reservation for the 15th & 16th, was fully booked, and couldn't honor our confirmed stay; neither the lodge nor the other party resolved the issue, forcing us to either pay $500‑$700/night in Jackson or $350/night 40 miles south to avoid sleeping in a car—both options were unacceptable, and I will never stay there again.
