At first glance the hostel looked nice, it was cheap and in a good spot, had a pleasant roof terrace overlooking Salento, a jacuzzi, and plenty of resting spots. But the receptionist made me wait 20 minutes because she was chatting with a friend. The rooms were cramped, offering no space for backpacks or curtains. The bathroom lock in our room was broken, rendering it unusable. There were no activities, and the overall vibe was poor with large groups of Israelis dominating; almost no other travelers were present or they left immediately. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I booked several nights but checked out after the first because it just wasn’t worth it. The staff start gardening right in front of the rooms before 6:00 a.m., then chatter and a lot of noise begin, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Music keeps playing until about 11:00 p.m., even when no one is at the bar or outside. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel if you need a quiet place to rest.

The location, facilities, and staff were all good. However, our room had a strange odor, probably from previous guests. The mattress was very soft, the boards were already worn, and the lighting was very dim.

The location is great, but the shared bathrooms are a downside.
