“Pousada top em Carolina”
The spot, breakfast, staff, cleanliness, and décor were all solid. The room felt too small for three people.

Service and location were good. The accommodation was basic, with simple bedding and bath linens and the room layout was lacking.

Breakfast was fantastic and the owners were very helpful with directions and distance info; definitely would return. The hotel itself was fine, though we didn’t stay long because we spent most of our time outside.

The pool area is quite pleasant and the staff helped fix a leak in our bathroom; the breakfast with fruit, bread and eggs was good, the bathroom is spacious and there’s a supermarket nearby, yet we couldn’t get to the pool before 7 am because the door was locked, the room felt cramped with little circulation space for luggage, it lacked enough hooks for wet clothes, the bathroom is overly large and could have been reduced to enlarge the room, the bathroom drain doesn’t close and let two brown spiders into the room – a stainless‑steel, lockable drain would be better, our 7 am outing was met with rigid staff who wouldn’t open the café earlier and locked the outdoor area; at 6:40 am we asked the owner Vanessa to let us sit on the poolside loungers until breakfast, but she was extremely rude, treated us poorly during the meal and didn’t bring the scrambled eggs she had served on previous days, our reservation was made through a booking platform and the owner messaged us the day before travel saying she would cancel it and then did so, forcing me to call repeatedly and re‑book to keep the points on Livelo – a needless stress right before the trip and clearly bad faith toward the platform, and although the town is small enough to walk everywhere, you still need about a 15‑minute stroll to reach the historic centre and the riverside.

The pool area is great for relaxing and the beds are comfortable. The room was a bit tight for three people and breakfast ended early at 9 AM. Other than that, nothing to complain about—would recommend.
