The welcome from Marino and Charlie was top‑class. Comfort-wise, there’s no air‑conditioning but the ceiling fan works great and is quiet. The included breakfasts are excellent with homemade juices. Dinner meals are tasty and inexpensive. A car is essential; the parking space is very tight for me, as I’m not a very skilled driver.

The location is perfect for exploring the island from north to south, the welcome was exceptional—always available, discreet, the breakfast every morning was very good and varied with homemade juices, the garden is a real bonus if you want to see local fruits up close and some plants used in tea or other benefits. Marino’s chef‑star style cuisine, don’t hesitate even a second to take the host meal option—you won’t regret it. The stay was flawless; my partner and I can only recommend this place for your future holidays in Martinique 🌴

Marino and Charlie are very welcoming. Staying with them means immersing yourself in local culture through tropical fruits, coconut‑cutting demos, and typical local dishes. The hosts let us taste every local fruit that came to mind and also local dishes they made themselves (like baked banana). Breakfast is homemade and the daily juice is always a treat, served with bread, butter, homemade jams, and always homemade baked goods. One day we were walking with the car we rented and they immediately came to help get it running again. The house’s location isn’t bad because it’s pretty central on the island and lets you visit both the north and south; the nearest beaches are about thirty minutes away. Less than ten minutes by car is the shopping mall La Galleria with many shops and a large Leclerc supermarket. The room has a bed, a desk, and a wardrobe. Thanks to the ceiling fan we never felt hot, and there are also window screens. The bathroom is outside the room and split: one room has a shower and sink, and the other has the toilet, but it’s private for guests. Inside the villa there’s also a parking spot for the car you rented. The room door is painted and when it stays closed for a while the paint creates a suction effect, and at night if you need to go to the bathroom it can be a bit noisy.
