“Soggiorno discreto”
The location is great and the welcome was warm, but the rooms feel a bit old‑fashioned and there's no tech.
“Vietri molto particolare una visita piacevole”
The staff were friendly, yet even though the house is in the center of Vietri, the windows face a busy street so you have to keep them shut and the AC on; the entrance is shabby, and the bathroom lacks a small cabinet for personal items.
The property sits conveniently near the train station and a busy main road that can get noisy, but there are lovely restaurants nearby and the place is clean. I missed breakfast because I was up early, but a local restaurant down the road offers it. No host greeted me on arrival, and when I called the number provided I didn’t get helpful instructions on how to get in, partly because of a language barrier. Luckily someone walked by and helped me contact the host and get access. The host was overseas, so couldn’t greet me.
“pessimo soggiorno”
The apartment was filthy, the bathroom was awful, the water closet was broken, and the sink was clogged.
The place was in a good spot, right in the city center, a short walk from the beach and the station, and the room was nice. However, we waited about an hour for check‑in, nobody opened the door or helped us. We expected at least glasses, but nothing. The fridge kept making noises all day, and the whole night there was noise from a nearby street. The lady kept calling our room several times because she didn’t know we were inside. She didn’t speak English, and we didn’t receive any info about breakfast or check‑out from the owner, so I had to keep calling.
