Hotel de Milliano sits atop a sand dune, overlooking the beach and offering exclusive views of the river, sea, and coastline. This 1964 architectural gem, designed by a Rietveld Academy student, features vintage-furnished rooms and suites with balconies and anti-allergic mattresses. Guests enjoy fresh local breakfast, free parking, and proximity to golfing, sailing, swimming, cycling, and horseback riding activities.

I appreciated the upgrade, but breakfast for early‑working people should start at 7 am.

A family hotel with a high level of service.

A comfortable, spacious room with good bathroom and a nice bed, a lovely view of Breskens and the sea, and an excellent breakfast; the styling feels dated and there’s no air‑conditioning, so it doesn’t quite reach 4‑star level.

The staff were very friendly and the cleanliness was flawless—nothing to complain about. The breakfast was nice, parking was immediately in front of the hotel, and the proximity to the sea was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, so I could leave my car right outside the hotel, and the staff were also very friendly to dogs. I will definitely book again. The only thing I can point out is that there’s no option to eat in the hotel in the evenings; that would be a nice addition.
