The room stayed spotless and orderly, and the reception ladies were warm and friendly. It sits right next to outlet stores, with a Wagamama and other eateries in close proximity.

Check‑in was a breeze, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. However, there was no lift, so carrying luggage, bags, and a laptop up the stairs was difficult for a solo traveller. The bedside lamps were either too bright or completely off. The décor felt very plain, and the bathroom looked worn. The surface around the TV and tea facilities was sticky and hard to clean. Breakfast was a let‑down: a small box of pre‑packed food with UHT milk and water, no fresh items or juice, so I skipped it the next morning. I was told I’d receive a parking receipt, but it never arrived.

The place was cheap and cheerful, though it could use a redecorating touch. It was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and pointed out a charming country pub just a 10‑minute walk away, where I enjoyed a delicious meal.

I appreciated that the hotel was within walking distance of the town centre. Nothing else to add.
