Even though the hotel’s older, it’s spotlessly clean and cozy, with a roomy suite that has a couch and a massive TV—definitely worth another visit. The only gripe is that the bathroom fan kicks on loudly whenever the light turns on, which can be annoying at night.

This place is a gem: staff are super friendly and helpful, check‑in ran smoothly, and the room feels like a one‑bedroom apartment with plenty of space and a big TV. We’ve stayed here before and plan to return in early spring.

Getting to the highway is a breeze and the local eateries are great value; plus, our dog didn’t cost a dime. The rooms, however, need a facelift—remove the old baseboard heaters and replace the cheap wall paneling from years ago, but keep the retro vibe while upgrading the worn parts.
