“Great, it is always our favorite place to stay in Salem.”
The appetizers were great and the facilities covered everything I needed. The only downside was the noise in the room from water rushing through the pipes.

The finish is beautiful and the place sits in a great spot. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. My partner had a strange experience in the bathroom right after we arrived—something lifted his cowboy hat from behind while he was in front of the mirror. Generally, the place seemed empty; we only saw one other guest. So if you’re social like we are, it’s on the quiet side.

The location is perfect for exploring, the staff are friendly, the house is charming, and the food is delicious.

The hotel’s historic charm, unique character, clean rooms, and friendly staff stood out, though the bed felt a bit too fluffy for my taste—I prefer a firmer mattress and pillow, which is just a personal preference.

It’s a very quiet place, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the cookies at reception are the best I’ve had, but the lack of an elevator made it tough for a solo woman with heavy luggage; I stayed on the 3rd floor.
