It’s a very nice hostel; the kitchen is a bit small but functional, so it’s a good choice. The main issue is that some travelers like to stay in filthy conditions, such as not showering for days, which is just the reality of hostels.

Central Hostel sits in Riga’s heart, a 10‑minute walk from the Old Town and 1 km from the central train and bus station. Heated rooms, free Wi‑Fi, and a shared kitchen with fridge cater to travelers. A communal lounge hosts a TV and DVD player. Nearby Vērmanes Garden, low‑priced eateries, and a grocery store enhance convenience. Parking is available in the backyard for an extra fee.

The hostel sits just a 10‑minute walk from the city center and is close to the main bus station if you’re coming from Vilnius or Tallinn. The reception staff were extremely nice and polite. Near the front desk there’s a pleasant sitting area and a large fridge stocked with fruits, coffee, tea, ice, milk, and water for guests, which made me feel welcomed—good job. I also enjoyed the offered fruit on occasion. The beds are quite comfortable and the showers are decent. The lack of AC makes it a bit hard in summer. Laundry costs 8 €; I used it because I was traveling for a long time. Unfortunately, the lady handling the drying left my clothes mixed up and wrinkled, so be aware of that. The price was acceptable.

The place was just okay; the common area was decent and the walkable area was fine, but there were flies in the bathroom and the bed was only average.

The price is good, the room was comfortable, but the kitchen area and floors were dirty. A little extra care would improve it.
