Breakfast was the only bright spot. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where you’re charged for water; they say bottled water is for “honors” members, otherwise you pay. The bed had a blonde hairball—my hair is short, so it must have come from a previous guest. I stayed four nights, but the room was cleaned only once (no “please do not come in” sign). They place a $200 hold that doesn’t clear for five business days—unbelievable for checking potential damages. A ketchup spill covered the hallway floor, staff were poorly dressed, and overall it was a terrible experience.

I liked everything—the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and it had an exercise room. The only downside was that the deposit refund took too long.

The lobby and common areas were clean and tidy. The room was a little dated but very clean when we arrived. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but it’s close to a mall with many restaurant options. The staff were phenomenal, super friendly and welcoming every time we returned. Even though we didn’t drink or eat at the bar, the bar staff were also friendly and chatted with us about the World Cup matchups. The hotel is on the outskirts of Atlanta; if you want to go downtown you’ll either have to drive and find parking or take public transport, which we preferred because we had a little one and didn’t want to worry about high noise levels outside. The biggest issue is parking: it’s up a hill, accessible by steps or a steepish hill. I have a disability placard, so I was lucky enough to park close to the door for the whole stay, but spaces are very limited even for disability parking. If you don’t have a placard and have any mobility issue, keep this in mind when booking.
