This charming 16th‑century coaching inn is highly recommended. It offers great value, comfortable rooms, and amazing staff, especially the landlord Mike who gave us a warm welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We’d definitely come back.

From arrival onward, the welcome was marvelous. The owner and all staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog received the same warm reception. The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Extras like welcome goodies and shared‑area breakfast options were generous surprises. Parking was easy, and the walk from the car park to the accommodation was convenient. The Kings Arm property offered a dog‑friendly pub with excellent food and indoor/outdoor seating under cover. I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to staying again.

The historic charm was fresh and modern. Every breakfast item contained gluten; perhaps some fruit could have been added.
