The spot was spot-on, and the view from the room was solid. The room itself sat oddly between floors with no elevator, forcing us to climb stairs, and the water stayed cold in the mornings, which was a real discomfort.

“Guten Hotel”

The hotel sits in a great spot for walking into the city centre, and the reception staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room is a good size and comfortable. The breakfast could use improvement; on our third day at 6:30/7:00 am there were only six stale slices of toast, rolls, and no fresh pastries to refill, which is unacceptable for a 4‑star property. Even though we often ate alone, the staff seemed unwilling to work, and the plates were never cleared. The omelette we ordered took a long time but was tasty. Rooms facing the church can be a bit noisy from the bell, especially at 6 am.

Everything was great, especially the reverse‑osmosis filtered water in the lobby. Nothing else to mention.

“Excellent location with helpful, welcoming staff”

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the historic centre. The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions, booking an airport taxi, and providing extra towels. The rooftop breakfast offered eggs on demand, yogurt, fruit, and breads.

Le rooftop au dernier étage avec une belle vue sur les montagnes et les clochers de la cathédrale. L’ambiance avec music. L’emplacement de l’établissement excellent. Le caractère du bâtiment. La qualité du service au Bar/restaurant. Personnel avec peu d’expérience dans le service, beaucoup d’attente. J’ai fini mon plat que ma compagne venait juste d’avoir le sien. Quant au dessert l’inverse elle l’avait fini que j’avais le mien qui venait de m’être servi !!! Pourtant il s’agissait des deux mêmes desserts
