“You get what you pay for”
The staff were wonderful. When I reported the mini‑fridge, they took note and asked if I wanted to move rooms or just report it. I won’t complain too much because you get what you pay for. However, the room smelled of mold and it seemed like there was a termite problem; the carpet and other fabrics were moist to the touch. The mini‑fridge was broken (they offered to change my room). I had to switch the AC from cool to dry because the air was so humid and moldy, and I could hear water settling in the system. The hotel is in a district right off a highway without blackout curtains, so it was so bright that we didn’t realize it was almost 1 am.
