The property sits right along the Shimanami Kaido, which was super convenient. The hosts were very friendly, offered us drinks, and the lady gave us raincoats because it rained the next day. They also shared excellent restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this place.

The hosts were very nice and helped us dry wet shoes, even offered to drive us to the supermarket in their car and gave us a compartment as a farewell gift. The small apartment had plenty of space, though we couldn’t use it all in one night. The location was great. The only downside was the price‑performance ratio; compared to a hotel in Imabari, it was simply too expensive.

The owners were incredibly accommodating! My partner and I arrived much later than expected after biking on the Shimanami Kaido, but they stayed at the property late, even texting to check on us. When we finally got there, we were greeted with cold glasses of homemade lemonade. Their hospitality was exceptional, especially for such a late arrival. They showed us around, pointed out the nearby Lawson (very close and convenient) and other restaurants, though we were too late to try any. The kitchen had a stovetop, microwave, fridge, and plenty of dishes, utensils, and cooking tools. Inside the room were two clean, comfortable futons and pajama sets. Everything was spotless, the AC worked well, and the shower head had excellent water pressure—perfect for rinsing off bike grime. We were amazed by the beautiful morning view from the window. It’s a great place with lovely owners and a solid price; I would highly recommend it if you plan to do the Shimanami Kaido over several days.

The spot is amazing – you can watch the sunset right from your room! The hosts are super friendly, and everything is organized and thought through to a fine degree.
