“Affordable , nice place to stay”
The staff were accommodating, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only downside was that our room had a full kitchen but no dishes or silverware at all.

What kind of hotel closes at 7:00 p.m. but only lets you check in after 3:00 p.m.? Their phone number was disconnected, and the description never mentioned a 7:00 p.m. closing time. I arrived late, the lobby was completely dark, and I’ve been in contact with Birch Hill with no response. I asked for a full refund, but nothing has happened yet. You literally cannot check in until 3:00 p.m. and they close at 7:00 p.m.; I lost $200. Complete con job!

The young woman who worked check in and check out was lovely and another gentleman who was in the office was also very kind. I have tons of pictures. Honestly, this property should be reported to code enforcement! Terrible condition. Really beat up. It needs a complete overhaul for sure. It also appears I paid far more per night than I would have had I booked directly with them. Their rate would have still been far too much for the condition of this property. Not only is the condition terrible, it appears many of the units are actually being used as apartments and in seemingly even worse condition based on all of the articles strewn about. Though the location is good, it also seemed to have a lot of transient people sort of lingering in the parking lots. Because I'd prepaid and other suitable options nearby were booked, I dealt with it. This has completely tarnished my view of Booking,com and I won't be using the site again. Very disappointing. I spoke with Customer Service and though the gentleman in India was nice, he was of no help, and I have not heard from anyone until this request for a review

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was dirty, a chair was broken, and not all lighting worked. I was charged an extra pet fee that wasn’t included in the booking, $75.

Staff were wonderful! The room was very dirty, with broken appliances and doors. Hair was scattered everywhere, and the couch was stained.
