The place is gorgeous, the people are super friendly and the atmosphere is really quiet, plus the food is solid. The downside is the beds – the mattresses are old and the furniture shows its age. Still, overall it’s a pleasant stay.

Nestled in a lovely valley near Křivoklát, the setting is rustic and quiet – not for anyone expecting hotel‑level comfort. A tiny tavern right next door serves decent drinks and food, and the staff were friendly. Check‑in communication was spot‑on, making arrival smooth.

The location is charming, cheap and clean, giving you a feeling of stepping back into the early 20th century, and the host was welcoming. The room’s glass door lets hallway light flood in, you can hear everything, the furnishings are worn and I couldn’t get the window open. So it’s a mixed bag.
