“Séjour au calme, mais quelques points à anticiper”
Stayed one night in a cabin right in the heart of a Vosges estate. The spot is quiet and lets you enjoy a relaxing environment. The cabin is cozy, well integrated into the farm setting, and gives an original nature break. A simple and pleasant stop for those looking for a different lodging in peace. However, a few things were less satisfactory. The October night was cool: the cabin has a small electric heater, but I didn’t want to leave it on all night, so the interior quickly got cold. The bathroom, about 50 m from the cabin, wasn’t heated and was a bit untidy; it’s on the ground floor of the owners’ house, which may not suit everyone. There’s no kitchen available. The cabin’s equipment is quite limited and could use an upgrade: we only had a microwave and a kettle. Also, the listing mentioned breakfast, but that service wasn’t offered at that time. A supermarket is luckily a few minutes away, but the lack of a fridge can also make planning harder.
