“Wild ma da provare assolutamente!!”

Right in front of the meeting point for the hike to the Ijen crater, there’s a tent with a roof, a bathroom at the back, set in the forest with a terrace surrounded by greenery—truly wild but worth a night’s stay! It had two bunk beds (they added an extra mattress on the floor between them because we were five), a small heater for the night, and dinner could be delivered to the tent or enjoyed around the fire. I wish there had been another blanket, as I felt a bit cold during the night.

“Un emplacement idéal pour monter au Ijen !!!”

The location was perfect for heading up the volcano, and the staff arranged the ascent for us—tickets, gear rental, and a private path at 2 am to reach the volcano trail. The view of nature was beautiful, and breakfast could be taken after we descended. Comfort was lacking: the blanket wasn’t thick enough, the heater was limited, and we felt a bit cold; the bathroom was very rustic.

The spot was ideal for starting the climb of Mount Ijen from the hotel’s private trail. The staff found us a guide and supplied the necessary equipment.

A quiet spot in the middle of the jungle, simple yet smartly equipped. It includes a direct heating system and an outdoor grill. The owner provides gas masks, priority tickets, and a private entrance to Iljen, letting you go first.

“Easy stay hear Ijen climb.”

Close to the Ijen volcano climb and the staff were very helpful. Nothing to dislike.
