The room was always spotless, the staff friendly and the breakfast great. The courtyard area is lovely, especially in the evening for card games or chatting. However, the pool water was too cold, there was no ramp for strollers, just a ladder, so we couldn’t use it at all. We had chosen this hotel partly for the pool, but it was unusable. The room was very small and when I asked for a bassinet they didn’t provide one, which turned out to be better because there wouldn’t have been room for it anyway.

We really appreciated the kindness and willingness of all the staff. The hotel is simple and welcoming, the beds comfortable and the air‑conditioning perfect for these hot days. The location is great. The breakfast could be improved; a little more would make it excellent. The pool is lovely, with nice fresh water, but it looks a bit dirty because of the tall plants around it: a small price to pay for a pleasant shade.

The staff are very friendly and attentive, helpful with problems and eager to find solutions. The location is nice, but contrary to the beautiful pictures it’s actually right in the middle of other busy hotels, not as secluded as expected. Antares itself is pleasant, though a bit worn and the outdoor area (pool, playground) somewhat untidy. The front is tidy, but it’s noisy right next to it. And beware: there are hardly any restaurants for spontaneous family meals nearby! If you need dinner, order in the hotel in advance or book a restaurant. The bike repair service is great, but it would be nice to offer dinner options or recommend reservations. More variety at breakfast and a bit more cleanliness there would be nice. Mostly there’s only processed food, a lot of sweets, little fruit, no vegetables or dark bread…

The location is only reachable to the beach through a pine forest; the rooms are clean. Breakfast is a disgrace! No choice, the sausage and cheese aren’t refrigerated, so if you arrive later they’re inedible; on two days there was no butter (how can a hotel not have butter?); on four days no juice, sugar ran out repeatedly; fresh cups only on request; no fruit, no vegetables; water tastes like chlorine; the hotel is extremely loud, doors, other guests, and from 7:00 am the noisy cleaning staff make sleeping impossible! The pool is dirty, with moss and grime on the edge, so unusable; the bathroom is very small, the shower tiny; price‑performance is completely off! The photos don’t match the actual state of the hotel; I cannot recommend this place!
