At night you can read while hearing insects, and stepping outside you feel Japanese autumn with pampas grass, ominaeshi, and wild chrysanthemums. It was my second stay and the experience was something you can’t get at a city hotel.

The space was amazing, super quiet in the middle of the mountains, perfect for resting after a hike. The food was excellent! The best part was the hosts and their daughter—curious and loving.
