The chalet was very pretty in a natural setting; the bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities were excellent, with thoughtful details in the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. We especially liked the relaxing balcony space at night and the fact that the owner had considered everything from shoe storage to blankets. The idea of a chalet guide was also nice, and the owner was always helpful and kind. We did have a bit of trouble driving up to the chalet because it isn’t 4x4 and it slipped a lot on the rocky slope. We understand why there’s no Wi‑Fi to allow a full disconnect in nature, but it would be practical to have some way to communicate in case of emergency, like when we ran out of water and couldn’t contact anyone. Despite that, we really enjoyed the chalet.
