The hotel is within walking distance of everything you need and close to Plymouth’s lovely seafront. The owner was great, offering cheap parking and even giving us porridge! The room wasn’t very clean and I got bitten by bed bugs. It’s not a suite, but that’s fine because I’ve had similar rooms before. Our room was on the top floor and the shower was downstairs with a toilet two flights of stairs below—an exhausting trek at night.

Check‑in was smooth. The staff were very helpful. The location on Plymouth Hoe is great, and there’s a pub next door. No meals are offered on site, but food is available at the neighboring pub.

It’s close to the harbour and right next to a pub—perfect.
