I checked in to find a notice that the hot tub and pool were out of service, which was the only reason I stayed; I prepaid, was denied a refund, and owe over $280 without ever staying. I waited 10 minutes at the front counter for help, but the staff were short and the service was terrible. I’ll never stay at a Comfort Inn again. I emailed the General Manager for a refund and still haven’t heard back.

The place sits in a good spot, but there’s no pool, no hot tub, and no ice machine on the first floor, which is annoying. When I asked for a discount, the front‑desk staff just laughed at me and was rude.

Not much to praise, just the location and convenience for what we were in town for; breakfast was fine. The elevator needs fixing—floor tiles leading to it are a trip hazard, and on the third floor it rattles and vibrates like something’s seriously off. Our room had an indescribable off smell, overall cleanliness could be better, it feels a bit run down. It wasn’t what we expected, but it was the best option for Waupaca when comparing reviews.
