The atmosphere is unique. It’s actually too expensive for the standard the house offers, especially when considering the outdated bathrooms. Yet, on the other hand, they fit perfectly, and the room was simply very special, as was the whole house. I would love to come back.

Located in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath nature park, the old building with original furnishings has no light pollution, allowing you to listen to the night sounds after sunset, like a conversation between two owls. Nothing else.

A truly special and wonderful house full of incredible charm! The loving décor feels like a time machine that takes you to another beautiful era. Everywhere you find unique details that give the place its own cozy atmosphere. Our apartment was huge, superbly equipped, and exceptionally clean. The plush towels and pleasant linens made the stay even more comfortable – you feel instantly at ease and welcomed. The staff were also exceptionally friendly, helpful, and warm. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety, so there was something for everyone. The location is fantastic: you’re right in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath and can start lovely hikes straight away. The surroundings simply invite you to enjoy nature and relax. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and will definitely stay here again whenever we visit the Lüneburg Heath. A completely beautiful stay!

The hotel feels amazing, tucked right in the woods among gorgeous heather fields—perfect for hikers and cyclists. My room was small but snug, and every detail in the hotel was thoughtfully arranged. Overall a great experience; I’d definitely return. The Wi‑Fi in my room was almost nonexistent, but maybe that’s intentional :)

Being smack in the middle of the nature reserve is a dream. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and the place is pleasantly quiet. The raised edge marking the bathroom boundary should be better signposted; it’s easy to miss and could cause injury.
