How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is so close to the excel. Where to start! The pool spa areas desperately need attention! Tiles are hanging off and it’s just filthy. Our room smelled of smoke. The iron steam left a mark on my jeans, and over a week later the hotel is still only apologising via email with no compensation. We were given complimentary breakfast, which wasn’t the best.

I stayed in a clean room with a comfortable bed and great blackout blinds, and the location was perfect for reaching ExCel. The room’s basic refreshments and toiletries felt more like a 3‑star hotel, and the ground‑floor bar was underwhelming.

The spot was ideal for the Excel, and we enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, and sauna after a long day at the exhibition stand. The food was good and the staff were helpful. The steam room wasn’t working, which was disappointing. We hadn’t pre‑booked breakfast by mistake, and it was frustrating that you can’t add it on at check‑in. Parking was mismanaged by the staff, so we received a bill when we got home, but they sorted it after a few phone calls.
