The décor of the guesthouse is pretty, different from typical hotels, and has a nice Taiwanese vibe. The TV had some issues, and during my stay the place was under construction, so the noise was loud and the room’s soundproofing was poor—I was woken up early in the morning. They refunded 500 yuan for the unusable TV, but I still wish they’d let guests know in advance if maintenance or construction is happening, or offer a cancellation instead, because that part of the experience was quite disappointing.
