The Hart House is stunningly beautiful, quiet, private, and close to the cableway, and the host was amazing with excellent communication.

The place was clean, had a nice garden view, and a cool chill spot that’s also kid‑friendly. However, the kitchen looked exactly like the pictures—small, without a stove, and lacking a braai area, so we had to rely on takeaways for most meals. We used the microwave to cook eggs and bacon for breakfast, which was a hassle. Getting the keys for check‑in was troublesome; they weren’t where we were told to look, and we spent almost two hours trying to reach someone by phone. The sofa also needed a deep clean—it was dirty.

The location is central, the room is spacious and practical, and the value for money is excellent. The owner was friendly, and I’d definitely come back.

The spot’s spotty, right in the middle of all the fun stuff, and the hostess was super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.
