The hotel sits close to the town and lets dogs in. The room was tidy and comfortable, but it was on the upper floor and the stair lights were out, so I had to use my phone torch to take my dog out early in the morning. The usual private parking was unavailable because of a market, so I parked in a public lot a few minutes away, which was inconvenient with a car full of tools and household items on the way south.

The location is superb in the city, the receptionist is very charming and professional, and the room is spacious with a view of the garden. No negatives.

A charming hotel with character on a small square, near the abbey… the breakfast room has vaulted ceilings. The access to the hotel is not easy.
